AscensionX (CréationX) is a Canadian creative workshop based in Old Longueuil, combining laser cutting, 3D printing, and custom design to deliver innovative products and immersive experiences.

We work in both B2C and B2B contexts — from personal creative projects to SMEs integrating new production techniques, all the way to international clients like Cirque du Soleil — and we also provide consulting and training for companies and individuals on creative technologies.

Our facilities include a conference room and workshop areas, where we can host theoretical training sessions, business meetings, and hands-on workshops on equipment use and materials.

I am currently semi-retired and thoroughly enjoy making custom jewelry, creating challenge coins, and exploring various aspects of laser crafts and sublimation. I’m a retired electrician, and a wood turner for many years. Due to the onset of cancer, which I believe is now beat, and osteoporosis. I am unable to stand for great lengths of time which needs to be done for wood turning. In looking for something else to do with my time, I discovered laser engraving and very much enjoy that pursuit. My demo room is my workshop which is situated in the garage of my home.

I am currently between two workshops. But I will have one room dedicated to demolition and another separate one for repairs.

I am a multidisciplinary creator from Whitehorse, Yukon, who combines laser cutting/engraving and 3D printing to craft original, locally inspired designs. I work with the xTool P2S and the M1 Ultra, and I recently added the F2 to my workshop — a machine I’m still exploring and learning to unlock its full potential.

My wife and I run our business from our garage, taking the F1 with us when we set up at local markets and fairs. It’s a shared space with tools and kids’ toys, but we keep our workspace as clear as possible to make our business workflow smooth. My wife is the creative genius who designs most of our creations. I’m the tech guy — I troubleshoot, build jigs, and handle that side of things.
