Yes, it is suitable if your machine's fume extraction requirement is 700 m³/h or less and its exhaust port diameter is within 60-110mm or 200-250mm. However, the smart features will not function.

The AP2 is designed for machines with a smoke extraction capacity of 150m³/h or lower. If your machine falls within this range, it should work with the AP2. However, you will need to prepare the adapter for the exhaust port yourself.

The product supports a 3-inch exhaust pipe. It's compatible with laser machines, hybrid 3D printers with laser modules, and DTF, 3D printers, as long as their exhaust pipe matches this size.

The AP2 is designed for machines with a fume extraction of 150 m³/h or less, but the P3’s fume extraction is 238 m³/h. The AP2’s airflow cannot meet this demand. As a result, if you connect a P3 to an AP2 for cutting, there will still be significant smoke and odor.

The AP2 can be used with IF2 2.0. But AP2 Max can't. The airflow rate of the AP2 Max and an external duct fan are significantly different. Using them together will cause the purifier or the duct fan to stall and trigger a fault alarm.

Yes, exhaust air can be discharged directly into the room because our purified exhaust air meets the air quality requirements for direct indoor exhaust.

It’s recommended to clean it every 6 months, but users can adjust this based on actual usage conditions.

What a filter! Does an amazing job connected to the P3…. Upon seeing the amount if wood smoke coming off a few trial projects i thought for sure there would be no way the filter would keep up, but it did like a champ! It is loud, but considering the job it does filtering and that it has an auto setting which works in conjuction with the P3 to automatically turn on and off and also adjust to the level of smoke or filter needing, just makes the one small negative easily accepted giving an easy 5 star rating!!

Don't regret spending the money at all!

We were admittedly nervous about spending the money on the AP2 after hearing a lot of bad things about various other company's air purifiers. But not having to worry about venting out a window was too enticing, as our room setup would have made it difficult.
So after watching/reading several reviews, we decided to take the plunge - turned out to be a most excellent decision!
Having the AP2 work so well with the P2S makes things incredibly simple. We keep it set on "Auto" for the most part, so it fires up when we start processing (and runs higher or lower depending on the materials!) and we have it set to run for an additional 20 seconds after the laser stops firing, to make sure that the chamber is completely cleared out. Having that sync feature really makes it worth the purchase.
We have a 10w enclosed laser from another manufacturer, and we vent that directly out the window. The hose run for that one is only about a foot, but the fan isn't great on it, and so if I've been using that one for a while, I'll actually open the lid on the P2S and turn on the AP2 and it helps take the odours out of the room that the OTHER laser creates.
Setup and installation was a breeze, and so far it looks like the filters should last quite a while.
Having the removable/washable pre-filter is a stroke of genius, and I'm assuming will extend the lives of the other filters by quite a bit.
Even then, the replacement filters look to be less expensive than some other company's replacement filters for their machines.
Of course, it's fairly loud on high, but the P2S makes a bit of a racket when you're cutting anyways, so no real complaints there either.
So far, don't regret spending the money on it at all.

I can’t really comment on the quality of the AP2 Air Purifier itself, as I only got to use it three times before it stopped working. My frustration is with the customer support. I purchased the extended warranty and had the AP2 for about a month when the issues started.

Despite going through the troubleshooting process multiple times and repeatedly reaching out, I was left waiting. I requested a replacement right away since I had customers depending on it, but instead of sending a new unit, it took over three weeks before they finally agreed just to send me a part.

Honestly, I don’t understand why I paid for an extended warranty if this is the level of service. Very disappointing. Buyer beware — the product might be fine, but the customer support is not.
