All the Best Lasers, Built into One.
X1 starts with a 55W CO2 laser. Add the 20W Diode Galvo Module to unlock high-speed engraving and future expansion with 5W UV, 60W MOPA, and 30W Fiber. One platform, five laser sources, more possibilities.
Galvo Speed. Gantry Scale.
No Compromise.
xTool X1 is powered by Hybrid Motion™, a 4-axis flying galvo system that synchronizes the gantry’s X-Y motion with dual galvo mirrors, delivering speeds of up to 6,000 mm/s across a large-format workspace. The result is larger projects, faster and finer engraving, and higher productivity—all in one machine.
Deep Cuts. Fine Engraving. One Machine Does It All.
CO2 lasers deliver higher power and excel at cutting, while galvo lasers are built for high-speed, fine engraving. xTool X1 brings both together with a 55W CO2 laser and a 20W Diode Galvo Module, combining powerful cutting and precision engraving in one machine.
Expand Your Lasers. Unlock More Materials.
Different materials perform best with different lasers—and for years, that often meant different machines. Starting with CO₂ and the 20W Diode Galvo Module, X1 can expand further through Laser Swap™ with optional 5W UV, 60W MOPA, and 30W Fiber sources. Start with what you need today, then add new laser sources as your materials, projects, and business grow.
Built for Bigger Ambitions.
With up to 4× the work area of a typical galvo laser, X1 handles oversized creations with ease. Up to 12× larger glass inner engraving volume opens up more possibilities for crystal awards and glass keepsakes. Nearly 2× larger metal embossing area enables bigger, higher-value metal products.
Put Your Laser on Autopilot.
X1 delivers an unprecedented “Place & Go” workflow with ACS™. The triple-camera system locates your material with precision, while the AutoLift Base automatically adjusts the bed height. Less setup, less guesswork, more productivity.

X1 Single CO₂ comes with the 55W CO₂ laser head only.
X1 CO₂ + Diode Galvo comes with both the 55W CO₂ laser head and the 20W Diode Galvo Module.
The Diode Galvo Module is required if you want to add UV, MOPA, or Fiber laser sources later.
If you want more room to expand in the future, we recommend choosing X1 CO₂ + Diode Galvo. If you start with X1 Single CO₂, you can still add the 20W Diode Galvo Module later.
Every X1 starts with a 55W CO₂ laser head. You can add the 20W Diode Galvo Module, which also enables expansion to:
If you plan to use UV, MOPA, or Fiber later, choose the X1 version with the 20W Diode Galvo Module.
55W CO₂: Best for cutting. Great for wood, acrylic, leather, paper, and many other common non-metal materials.
20W Diode: Best for fast, detailed engraving on wood, leather, dark acrylic, cardstock, and more. It can also mark painted or coated metals.
5W UV: The only X1 laser source that supports glass inner engraving. Its low-heat processing enables ultra-fine engraving on almost any material, especially glass, crystal, PCBs, flexible plastics, and other heat-sensitive materials, with clean edges and minimal burning or yellowing.
30W Fiber: Best for detailed metal engraving, embossing, and color engraving.
60W MOPA: Best for more advanced metal work. Compared with 30W Fiber, it offers finer detail, faster processing, and better results for color engraving and embossing.
Different laser sources have different optical characteristics, and processes such as inner engraving, relief engraving, and color engraving have different requirements for focus control, energy distribution, precision, and stability. As a result, their maximum processing areas vary.
X1 is optimized for each laser source and its typical applications, balancing processing precision, structural constraints, and overall output quality. This allows each source and process to achieve the largest practical work area while maintaining stable, consistent results.
X1 has several dedicated accessories designed specifically for the platform, including:
X1 also supports a range of compatible xTool accessories, including:
xTool X1 is ideal for creators and small business owners who want to start with CO₂ cutting and engraving, take on larger projects, and expand into more materials and applications, such as glass and metal, as their needs grow—all without replacing the entire machine. Its processing speed reaches up to 6,000 mm/s.
The F Ultra Series is designed for users who prioritize higher speeds (up to 15,000 mm/s), specialized performance, and portability. It's especially suited for professionals who need advanced metal and glass processing, and on-the-go customization.
In short: Choose X1 for versatility, larger projects, and future expandability. Choose the F Ultra Series for speed, specialized performance, and portability.
