I have been very impressed with the 40 watt laser module. I had the 20 watt and was limited on speed and cutting ability. The 4” watt has made a big difference too me on ever day engraving and cutting . Wish I bought this to start with!

I upgraded from a 20w laser to a 40w laser. I love the 20w and use it for finer engraving but I love the cutting power of the 40w.
Hello, I was finally able to purchase the 40w module for my S1 laser and it performs great, is faster than my 10w module and cuts deeper and cleaner. It dies make more smoke and constantly sets off the fire alarm on the machine and shuts down even though there is no fire? I think I will need to install an online duct fan to draw out the smoke faster since the exhaust fan on the back of machine does not exhaust the smoke fast enough? It would be nice if the exhaust fan on the S1 had a variable speed switch? I will have to wait on the online fan until I can afford it being that currently not employed? Keep up the great work Xtool.
