The honeycomb makes cutting small items a snap.

Look, I get that it has a substantial price tag and you have to buy two of them for the entire bed, but I liked it a lot more than the slats. Also the knock off steel version made me really nervous that the added weight would wear the Z motors out faster than these would. The honeycomb panels come with some hold down tools, so I didn’t feel the need for magnets. I actually bought one first and liked it so much I bought another.

A little expensive compared to some steel versions out there but I generally like to buy parts and accessories from the original manufacturer and not knock offs.

The Xtool Honeycomb laser bed is a quality addition to my P3. I like that it’s lightweight and that it fits perfectly. The center frame were the two pieces meet is thin and does not create a large flash point in the center. I like having the option of using just one of the two honeycomb. It is a bit pricey but I feel the light weight of the honeycomb will not overly stress the lifting motors extending the life of my p3. I am happy with this purchase.
